(3) RAW MILK AND PUMPKIN RECIPES YOU MUST TRY THIS FALL
If you love all things pumpkin and raw milk, this is the blog for you! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. The way the leaves fall from the trees. The way the cool air starts to blow in. Halloween. Thanksgiving. I love it all! These recipes below are inspired by our love of fall, as well as our love and appreciation of raw dairy products, which make every single recipe that much more nutrient dense. Check them out and let us know which one is your favorite.
1.Pumpkin Raw Cream Cold Brew
Perhaps you’ve tried it before, one of Starbucks’ most popular holiday drinks: the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. We took a creative twist on this drink and made it our very own-with Raw Whole Milk and Raw Heavy Cream! It’s made with organic cold brewed coffee and homemade pumpkin raw sweet cream. Check out the full recipe on our blog here.
2. Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
If you’re a fan of oatmeal, you’ll love this. If you’re a fan of anything pumpkin spice flavored, you’ll also love this. I mean, who wouldn’t? Oatmeal is a cozy, filling meal perfect for a chilly fall or winter morning. Make it extra festive by adding organic pumpkin puree, and make it extra nutritious by adding raw dairy products.
To make Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal, simply prepare your oats how you normally would. Add your choice of sweetener (my go-to is raw honey). Once the oats are almost finished cooking, add 1/4 can of organic pumpkin puree and mix thoroughly. Add pumpkin spice powder powder, a splash of raw heavy cream, and mix again. Adjust sweetness if necessary. Pour the oats into a bowl and top with 2 tablespoons of raw butter, a sliced banana, apple slices, more pumpkin spice powder, granola, and if you have some left over from the Pumpkin Raw Cream Cold Brew recipe above, drizzle homemade pumpkin spice syrup on top. Delicious!
3. Pumpkin Spice Raw Kefir Smoothie Bowl
I know what you’re thinking. A pumpkin smoothie bowl? Could that possibly be any good? Yes, and yes! This is a perfect on-the-go breakfast that will keep you feeling festive, nourished, and satisfied until lunch. To make a pumpkin spice raw kefir smoothie bowl, blend 1 quart of Raw Vanilla Kefir, 1/2 cup of organic pumpkin puree, 2 frozen ripe bananas, peeled prior to freezing, 1–2 medjool dates, pitted, 2 tablespoon organic almond butter, a splash of organic vanilla extract, and pumpkin spice powder. If you do not have any pumpkin spice powder on hand, you can make your own by mixing together a combination of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice. Top with your toppings of choice! Some ideas may be raw coconut flakes, organic berries, and granola.
