5 Raw Milk Iced Coffee Recipes You Need To Try This Summer

If there’s one certain way to supercharge your coffee, it’s to make it with raw milk. The depth of flavor is so much better, not to mention it’s a whole lot healthier! But where to start? Well, a splash of raw milk in your coffee is a sure-fire way to start but summer is here so I thought it would be much more fun to share some awesome iced coffee recipes you can make at home!

The coffee you use is interchangeable, don’t feel like you need a super fancy coffee maker. Any fresh coffee out of a standard drip machine will be just fine, but make sure you make it a little stronger than normal. So add in an extra scoop of coffee but keep the amount of water the same.

If you have an espresso machine, that’s also a great option but don’t worry about it if not. As long as you can make some black coffee you’re off to the races. If you’ve got a pod machine that will work great too. You’ll just need to adjust the ratios of milk to coffee to suit your brew style.

  1. The Classic Raw Milk Iced Latte

Ingredients

Method

  1. Brew up your coffee making it stronger than usual

  2. Add your sweetener to the coffee while it’s hot

  3. Pour the coffee over the ice

  4. Pour in the raw milk

  5. Enjoy

This is essentially your standard iced americano with raw milk on top. It’s easy. You’ve likely got all the ingredients already, and it’s a delicious and cool drink to enjoy on a hot summer's day. 

Sweetener is totally optional. Just make sure you add it to the coffee while it’s hot so it properly melts in!

2. Iced Raw Milk Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients

Method

  1. Brew up your coffee making it stronger than usual

  2. Add the vanilla syrup to your coffee while it’s hot and mix

  3. Drizzle caramel sauce around the inside of the glass

  4. Add the ice to the glass, pour in the coffee, then the milk

  5. Drizzle a little extra caramel sauce on top for decoration

This is my wife’s favorite drink in the morning, a little more complex than your basic latte but well worth the extra effort.

The Starbucks caramel macchiato is a vanilla latte with a patterned caramel drizzle on the top, with an iced coffee the drizzle on top doesn’t really mix in properly but it can look nice for decoration.

3. Iced Raw Milk Mocha

Ingredients

  • 2fl oz Strong Black Coffee

  • 5fl oz RAW FARM Whole Raw Milk

  • 1 tbsp of Hot Cocoa Powder

  • Drizzle of Chocolate Sauce

  • Glass with ice

Method

  1. Brew up your coffee making it stronger than usual

  2. Add the cocoa powder to the hot coffee and mix well

  3. Drizzle chocolate sauce around the inside of the glass and add the ice

  4. Pour in the coffee followed by the raw milk

  5. Stir and enjoy!

I like to use a nice drinking cocoa for this rather than a cocoa powder you would use for baking. Something nice and chocolatey that will complement the coffee flavors nicely. Or, if you wanted, you could add extra chocolate sauce to the hot coffee instead of cocoa powder for an extra decadent mocha.

4. Iced Raw Milk Honey Latte

  1. Brew up your coffee making it stronger than usual

  2. Add the honey to the hot coffee and stir well

  3. Pour the coffee over the ice in the glass

  4. Top up with the milk and enjoy!

This is an iced version of the classic Spanish drink Coffee Con Miel. AKA, coffee with honey. If you haven’t tried it before you definitely should. You could even get a little fancy with it and add some vanilla syrup topped with ground nutmeg! But as is with the honey, is also delicious. If you want it more caramel flavored then you can add a little drizzle to the hot coffee.

5. Iced Raw Milk Brown sugar Latte

Ingredients

  • 2fl oz Strong Black Coffee

  • 5fl oz RAW FARM Whole Raw Milk

  • ¾ cup of brown sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Glass full of ice

Method

  1. You’re going to make brown sugar syrup by adding the brown sugar and vanilla to a cup of water and heating it until the sugar dissolves

  2. Combine 3 tablespoons of the mixture with your hot coffee

  3. Pour over ice, add the raw milk on top

  4. Drink and enjoy!

Brown sugar and coffee go really well together, and adding in Vanilla (which is my all time favorite coffee flavoring) makes this a really delicious drink! You can make it for friends and they’ll be very impressed with your homemade syrup. They’ll be even more impressed when they taste it.
