HOW TO TAKE A RAW MILK BATH (self-care hack)
Have you ever thought of using raw milk as a beauty product? Or taking a bath with it? People know that raw milk has health benefits when the cows are grazing happily on pasture and eating a healthy diet. So, why not use it in your skin care routine, too? Raw dairy products may hold the secret to soft, glistening skin. Ditch the costly skincare products, bath bombs, and shower creams and reach into your fridge for raw milk!
HOW TO TAKE A RAW MILK BATH
When I first head about taking a raw milk bath, my first thought was that I would need to fill my entire bath tub with raw milk. That’s a lot of milk. And that’s very expensive. Thankfully, that’s not the case. A raw milk bath only requires a warm bath with a 1/2 gallon of raw milk added.
DIRECTIONS:
Fill your bathtub with warm water. You want it to be warm enough where you’re comfortable and not too cold, but not so hot that it cooks or heats the milk.
Add in 1 half gallon of fresh RAW FARM Raw Milk
Add in 5-10 drops of organic essential oil. My favorite oils are lemon oil, lavender, and vanilla.
Use your hand to gently stir the mixture in the bathtub.
Enjoy a nice, relaxing raw milk bath for 30 minutes-1 hour.
Stay in the bath for as long as you’d like. Bring a book, listen to some music, light a candle. This is your time to relax and release.
When you get out of the bath, here’s a few tips we recommend to finish your raw beauty, self-care treatment!
Gently dry your skin with a cotton towel. Get into some organic cotton or silk jammies.
